This is a short video on my Nokia N91 of the beautiful court yard of the Saleh (President) masjid in Sana'a - Yemen. It is the largest mosque in Yemen, beautifully constructed, resembles and is similar to the masjid Nabawi in Madinah in architectural terms because of the open court yard, lamps outside, the chandeliers inside (maybe the same ones) etc In the poorest country in the Middle East - many are very undecided about the masjid besides it's beauty. Worth a visit at least once if you are in Yemen, but do check out the other historical and more significant masjids such as the one by Mu'ad ibn Jabal in Taiz and the Old City. [More] [Less]
